Working with collections and institutions is always an amazing and rewarding experience for me. Seeing how my practice connects and interrupts the existing material and structures.
Workshops –
- Hack around and find out – Making art from readily available features on phones / apps etc.
- It only needs to last 5 minuets – Cheap and easy costume making for film / camera.
- Delete / Export / Delete – Very basic workshop in how to begin using blender / Unreal engine.
- Where we end and the world begins – Initial workshop for dipping your toe into performance and live art.
- Sound it out – basic workshop for playing with synthesizers / sound bathing.
Talks –
- Is Ai the new Holy Mountain? – Considering how we incorporate technology into our artists practices and how it effects the world we all live in.
- Where do you even start? – An honest practical talk on ways of getting started as an artist. – ideal for students.
- Access in the archive – a talk about my experiences of working with museum collections bringing out hidden elements and building in greater access.
- Artist talk – General talk about my practice and how it intersects with various areas.
Training –
- Access and inclusion – a brief training session for organisations on How to be more accessible / Access documents and inclusion.

I’ll often approach the collections from a position of neurodiversity, being both dyslexic and dyscalculic I need to find my own way into understanding the material.

SMQB – Residency with University of Birmingham 2023 / 24 –
